# My name is Edith Muijsers and I train

# How it all started in 2005

By accident, somebody asked me if I could deliver a teambuilding training for her team. This was in Uganda and the training took place at the Source of the Nile, were the Jacarinda Trees blossom. Since this training was a success, over the years, I have been giving very many trainings as a result.

# Now, 14 years later

I often think about that very first training I delivered and how I manage these day's to deliver tailored made trainings, in such a way, that the participants meet their learning goals. The topics and customers might differ but I always loved to work with especially those corporates who understood the importance of investing in their employees on a regular basis and provide for training & coaching.

# Cultural differences

It's great to live and work in a multi-cultural environment, but I know very well (as a Dutch I lived for 10 years in Uganda) that this is not always easy. Communicationstyles can be different and at times misunderstandings can occur. It's one of my missions, to bring a greater awareness of the cultural differences, the richness of each and what we can do or which skills we can develop to improve communication amongst each other. In any way, this will support teamwork, relations, build trust and so much more!

Is Swahili for standing firm, or standing strong. Do I need to explain much more? 😃 Well, from your inner self, from your roots, you observe the external world. I love to explore with you, your team or your corporate organisation: where do you come from, where are you today and where would you like to go? Ofcourse there is also the how and if needed training and coaching to get you there!
